Cornstalk has performed alongside many various well-known acts from around Australia and International acts, as Dallas Frasca, Ash Grunwald, The Beautiful Girls, Afro Moses, Cornerstone Roots and True Live to name a few, delivering nothing but quality performances.

Over the past years the band have been in the top 4 bands in Australia to compete for The World Battle of The Bands to represent Australia, along with a few of their tracks from there earlier released self-titled EP being aired on many commercial and community radio stations. In 2013 Cornstalk was also nominated again for 3 AIMAS awards. The bands single release "Great Love" was ranked number 8 in the top 10 Video Clip Awards for 2013 in Australia.

Cornstalk is definitely a band to see live in concert, as brothers Chris & Shayne Hamall deliver soulful and rich harmonies to the band, along with Kane Starkey's melodic cutting edge blues solo's. Sounds like Southern Rockers “The Black Crowes” meets “Seattle Grunge”.

Cornstalk is a band of quality, musicianship, melodic solo's, strong vocals and harmonies with a punching rhythm section with a roots rock sound, Cornstalk is the sound you have been waiting for and a show not to be missed.

The band members consist of: Chris Hamall (Lead Vocals / Rhythm Guitar), Lyle Goodman (Drums), Ben Pettett (Keys), Shayne Hamall (Backing Vocals / Percussion), Kane Starkey (Lead Guitar), and Evan Doyle (Bass).
