2018 finds 18 year old Blue Mountains local, Leotrix on an exciting tip: tearing up the standard Bass Music blueprint and digging into his experimental core. Known for pushing the boundaries of sound design as we know it, the youngster is irrepressibly drawn to this creative axis as a prodigy and as a rebel.
Producing since the age of 12, he has honed his skills to display a signature sound that encompasses infectious topline leads, crunching drum patterns and luscious melodic soundscapes. The message in his music is clear “I try to show everything around me through my music and ultimately I want to take people on an emotional journey to different places and memories.. I want them to FEEL something and overall I want it to always be fun”
His upcoming release ‘Swimboy’ is being premiered on Triple J & see’s him head off on his debut Australian tour. Following from that release he backs it right up with an Enschway collaboration ‘Stay Here’ via Sweat It Out plus a steady flow of originals and collabs with some of the world’s hottest electronic acts.
