You asked, we listened. That's right: Australia's favourite reptillian rock dogs Crocodylus are dusting off the debris accumulated from recent runs around Australia with The Chats, A. Swayze & The Ghosts and VOIID to present a brand new EP, and a brander newer tour.
After hunkering down in the studio for a few months at the start of the year, the Northern Beaches-based trio are now gearing up for the release of their genuinely anticipated third EP, ‘Enjoy’, out in late September via The Chats’ label Bargain Bin Records.
And they're hitting the road to celebrate with a live show that's bursting at the seams and a slew of brilliant supports in tow, including Byron Bay's sweltering partystarters Israeli Chicks, Melbourne-based heavy punks Pistol Peaches and equally top-notch local supports at selected shows.
Featuring all-star production from Owen Penglis (Royal Headache, Straight Arrows, Bloods), and mixing from Wade Keigran (Polish Club, The Hard-Ons, Wolf & Cub), ‘Enjoy’ is set to be a bold new release from the trio, showing where they’re at as songwriters, performers, and as a band. Exploring their undying love of garage, psych, revivalist rock and all the gooey bits in between, ‘Enjoy’s unifying theme is right there in the tite: it’s something for the fans, from us, the Crocs.
