The posi-wizards from FOLEY! are back with a brand new album ‘Hey, Don’t Worry About It’
The band has been gaining momentum since their 24-minute debut ‘Ascot Vale’, which saw its release in 2015. The album was highly praised amongst the Australian folk-punk community, proving a personal favorite for many.
Pairing painfully honest lyrics with punk rock attitude, FOLEY!’s live shows have quickly become something to take notice of. ‘The Melbourne three-piece deliver a nostalgic, narrative-heavy brand of emo-folk-punk, featuring comforting ocker-Aussie vocals and familiar, energetic guitars.’ With broken strings and blown out vocal chords, the energy emitted by the trio is truly captivating.
Returning to Sound Park Studios in Northcote to record the second album, ‘Hey, Don’t Worry About It’ is as familiar as it is fulfilling, Michael Porter’s cathartic songwriting and honest lyricism ensures you can be sad, but want to jump around and throw fists in the air at the same time. It’s a record that makes you feel like Mick, Tom and Dyl are giving you the biggest hug the entire listen.

With Foley’s Sophomore record now out on the shelves, they’ll embark on another tour of their own, bringing their home-made sound and vibrant stage shows to venues across the country.
