Garage Sale have just dropped their new single ‘Frank’ and, with a newly rehearsed live performance, are quickly heading out on an East Coast Tour to mark the occasion. Handpicked by the band themselves, GSale will be supported by some of Australia’s best sounding up and coming alternative artists.

Frank is the first single from Garage Sale’s upcoming record, produced by Calum Newton (Candy, Amyl and the Sniffers) and mastered by Corey Coffman (USA)(Gleemer, Milly).

“'Frank' is supremely morose and sweet... tinged with depression and hopelessness but optimistic with human connection. It's a 90s west coast emo fantasy.” Tommy Faith (TripleJ Unearthed).

Moving on from their 2019 Lennox Head high school surf rock origins the band spent the quiet months of 2020 writing their new record. The results land closer to the lofi-indie, shoegaze and slowcore sounds of the 90s than the power-pop roots that the band were previously known for. Fans have called resemblance to My Bloody Valentine, DIIV, Swirlies, Snail Mail and Pavement.

“Frank is a tune that feels like a sonic-embodiment of those gorgeous winter storms that force you to think back on your life” - Life Without Andy

The band has expanded to a four piece, now composed of Dan Sullivan (lead vox, guitar), Ben H. Luke (guitar), Catey Ellis (bass), Cus Aiello (drums)
