Introducing No-Fi Fridays ~ Newcastle's new monthly indie nightclub event. We'll be bringing some of the country's most hyped acts to town & pairing them with the most exciting talent emerging from our vibrant local scene.
We'll also have the No-Fi DJs spinning indie hits in the smokers area 'til late ~ so you can roll your darts while you roll your hips 💃🏻
Each month we'll be aiming to collaborate with other like-minded collectives from Newcastle & around the country. Thanks to Love + Rent for helping us put together this 10/10 lineup 💕
🕯 WAAX 🕯
~ Brisbane's WAAX have had an absolutely enormous year on the back of their "Wild & Weak" EP. They've sold out shows all across the country & would struggle to get their songs off triple j high rotation if they tried. They've got upcoming tours with DUNE RATS, WAVVES, Hockey Dad & even bloody Fall Out Boy - so catch them for $5 at The Cambo while you still can.

~ She's playing Sounds Of The Suburbs, she's getting played all over triple j... and she's studying for her HSC. The "coolest 17 year old in Newcastle" will be gracing the stage with a full band in tow. Believe the hype.

~ Stalwarts of the Newcastle scene & foundation members of the No-Fi Records roster, you know what you're going to get from Voodoo Youth - a damned good time. They've got new music on the horizon & we'll get a taste of it here.

~ The Queen of Beaumont Street released her debut single 'Time Machine' earlier in the year & has been gaining solid praise for her heartfelt & releateable live shows.
