On the 4th of June 2017, the metal community lost the beautiful and talented Megan Maude, lovingly known to her friends as Megzy.
Megz passed away suddenly after a battle with Leukaemia.
The members of Sabretung lost a close friend and fan in Megz Maude, and have taken the initiative to reform after 4yrs for a one-off show dedicated to Megz. Two of Megz’s other favourite local acts, Abacination and Autolysis have also been invited to play and have a thrashing celebration dedicated to Megz’s spirit and irresistible laugh.
All of the bands have volunteered to donate profits from their merch sales on the night to the cause.
The drummer of Sabretung will be shaving his head on the night through the Leukaemia Foundation, as it is at the tail end of the World’s Greatest Shave campaign.
